Should I join a Frat?
Anyone have any advice on this?...Im really torn because I dont know anyone at UCLA, and think that this is the only way I would get involved. I am transferring so I feel somewhat awkward joining a frat at 22. Also, I already have a beautiful girlfriend so meeting women to screw is not part of my concern. Any people with experience in this please help me out. THanks!

Re: Should I join a Frat?
Depends on if you're into it. I couldn't imagine being a 22 year old pledge and the sorority girls are one of the best reasons to do it.
I say no, just meet everyone who lives around you. |

If you enjoy holding other men's ballsacks then yes join.

Re: Should I join a Frat?
I never joined and I think frats are kinda lame. But they may be just solid for you, go to rush week or whatever and check them out. You can really quit at anytime...so no risk with good reward.

Joining some sort of club might have the desired outcomes you are looking for in a fraternity.

Re: Should I join a Frat?
Everyone has different experiences with fraternities. It's a really bad question to ask most people, especially 2p2'rs.
I had an amazingly experience in my fraternity, and would always recommend it. At a big school, being 22 and being a pledge could kinda suck though. Just make sure you join the frat with people you have the most in common with. Don't join the one with the best hookups, or the party frat, or the drug frat, or the athletic frat, etc. If that's not who you are/what your looking for. |
