Ricola
A co-worker of mine gave me one of these because I have a cough/allergy thing going on and I have some questions:
What exactly is this thing? Is it a cough drop? Is it a herbal candy [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] of some sort? All it says on the wrapper is "Original Herb" I don't think it tastes particularly good, in fact I think it tastes like [censored], but it's somehow good nonetheless. Soothing, if you will. I'm not sure there's a question here, it's just pretty weird. This last one is a question though and that question is what does a pack of these run? Not that I'm a cheapo, just curious. Thanks

Ricola contians herbs or herb extracts, or something like that. Basically it contains herbs that actually has a soothing effect on colds/sore throats. Therefore, it actually helps when you have a sore throat or a cold, contrary to a lot of the synthetic junk you can buy.

I don't know if it's on their website because I didn't look at it, but currently, they are running a promotion where they have a secret person out and they will cough. If you offer them a Ricola, you'll win a million dollars.
Not that I would do it, but I thought it was a "cute" sounding promotion.
