turning my hand into a bluff?
50nl ipoker 6max
vill is 18/2/.5 17% wtsd after couple of hundred hands if it matters my image is like 28/24/4 laggy capable of making bluffs etc, don't know if vill is aware of this though 48$ eff stacks 4 handed atm CO folds Hero raises K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] OTB to 2$ SB calls BB folds Flop (4$) is Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB check/calls my 3.75$ cbet (pbb bit too much but meh) Turn (11.5$) is 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks Hero bets 8$ (I might get called by worse hands, I might fold out TT-JJ, Qx, I charge draws) ? SB calls River (27$) is A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero really really wants to bet like 20$. |

Re: turning my hand into a bluff?
I don't think I cbet this flop. A nitty player called my raise OOP and the flop hits a lot of hands. I dunno if thats right tho
I'd check behind the turn, we've got something now but he obviously does to, I wanna keep the pot small and hopefully get a freeshowdown river, meh I dunno. I guess it depends on how much of his range is KQ QJ JJ TT, and whether or not hell fold those. The ace is scary, but it also helps a part of his range too. |

Re: turning my hand into a bluff?
When I have to make a decision like this river bet, I generally have a closer look at their stats:
(1) What's his river behaviour, does he fold a lot to river bets, or bet the river a lot? (2) In general, is his very low AF due to calling a lot or to betting very little? If he's just generally passive and just doesn't bet very often, I check behind. If he's folding the river often, I might bet since we can fold out Qx. |
