***OFFICIAL*** LOST Season 3 Episode 4 Thread -spoiler free-
Season 3, Episode 4 “Every Man for Himself”
Episode Blurb (in white): <font color="white">- Sawyer discovers just how far his captors will go to thwart any plans of escape he and Kate might have, and Jack is called upon to scrub up in order to save the life of one of "The Others." Meanwhile, Desmond's behavior begins to perplex the survivors when he starts construction on an unknown device. –</font>  Quick Recap **SPOILERS if you are not caught up through tonights episode** The Others 1.) Jack is being interrogated by the others, most notably Juliette, in an underwater Dharma station called “The Hydra”. 2.) Kate and Sawyer are being held in zoo-like cages and are being used as labor. 3.) Ben has told Jack that if he does what he asks “when the time comes” he can return him to civilization. This assumes that the others not only have contact with the outside world, but can return and choose not to. The Survivors 1.) According to Desmond, the button was in place to periodically expel electromagnetic energy that builds up in the island. He also claimed that the plane crash was the result of him not pushing the button. When Locke refused to push it, Desmond was forced to go under the hatch to flip a switch that would destroy the hatch as it expelled the energy. Locke, Ecko and Desmond were in the hatch when he pulled the switch. 2.) After the hatch “imploded” Locke, Desmond and Ecko woke up elsewhere on the island. Locke is having visions of Boone, Desmond is having visions of the future, and Ecko is having problems with a polar bear. 3.) Sun, Jin and Sayiid lost Desmonds sailboat to the others, in the process Sun shot one of them – a woman who was close to Ben (presumably dating?). 4.) Desmonds ex, the daughter of Charles Windmere, has located the island via the electromagnetic pulse. I'm just so glad this thread wasn't made this morning at 8am. Oh, and how it's spoiler free. With that said, i'm very excited for tonights episode i saw like 5 seconds of a preview.
