Re: JJ at 200nl
[ QUOTE ]
It really doesnt matter here if he's folding worst and calling what beats us since there's a lot in the pot and a lot of river cards really complicates thing, I think here it's about extracting the most without complicating our life too much. His line pretty much does that, yeah sometimes we will get stack by AA/KK/QQ, or a rare set, but I think this type of opponent is very cappable of floating he can also play 77-TT like that and maybe draw. I don't know if he bets turn with 77-TT and draws here, if I know that it probably changes my line... It's a high variance play, but pretty sure it's +EV [/ QUOTE ] nice explanation, thanks |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure he's folding worse, and calling better almost always here. [/ QUOTE ] Yea this line basically gains us the most when were ahead and costs us the most when were behind. [/ QUOTE ] so..... in any case, what do people think about a good turn line then as an alternative to crai? [/ QUOTE ] bet/fold ? [/ QUOTE ] Meh Im not too crazy about putting half our stack in and folding. This spot is why JJ = the ghey |

Re: JJ at 200nl
Bet the turn, otherwise I think you played it perfectly. I would think that the bet by the villain is a bluff, but i could also see him making that play with 77-TT. Most of the time you are way ahead here.

Re: JJ at 200nl
I haven't played with dataporton but I think his line seems pretty strong. The only hands I see he might do this with that you beat are 88-TT. Given the board paired and there are 2 flush draws out, he leads turn to protect his own hand.
I'd imagine his most likely holdings are a larger pair or 76/65s. |
