and if u think about it

consider taxes which will take a decent chunk
add the half million minimum he donated to charities
and the house he bought in fresno...wouldnt be surprised if that takes at least half the 8 million

That's true. Lots of pros try to satellite into the WSoP main event, or at least used to, because if you're a really good satellite player then it's +EV to do it that way.
