at hollywood park, the dealers are required to tip out to the chip runners, but I think it's only like 2 dollars per down or something like that. I'm not sure if that comes out of the chiprunner's wages or not.

Chip-running in Vegas blows. Makes about $20-30 a day plus $8/hrish base wage... on a very, very good day.

Note to self: When I'm ready to try chiprunning, move to Phoenix, get job at CAZ, stand near Desert Cat, get load-distributing backpack to tote chips in.

At Crystal (where I work) we drop $3 per down... but that is distributed between the floormen and chiprunners (when we had them).

$24K per year on average just for being able to walk, count and not drop racks sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
