I'm betting 2/3 pot for value here and getting it in on the river if he calls. He likes his hand enough to call after you raise the flop over the minbet, so he's gotta have something and we're only beat by 99 and 55 (99 would possibly raise over the limpers preflop and I doubt JT calls the flop bet here).

So I'd be in build-a-pot mode after the turn Q.

I agree I see little reason to do anything but lead here and get value from K9-KJ and maybe even a weird hand like Q9 or something. If he has 99 or 55 we're in bad trouble but I don't really see any way of avoiding it.

sherman...do you usually limp KQ here? I guess it's suited and all...as played I bet 300ish and call a push...if he gutted you he gutted you...if he has a set he has a set

TBH, I don't know. I think sometimes I limp and sometimes I raise. Early on in the MTT I am more prone to limp...I think. I'd actually have to go check my hand histories to see what I "usually" do, b/c I have no idea.

This early, I'm usually limping KQ and almost always limping if someone's already limped in ahead of me.

Yeah. This is probably more why I limped than anything else.

I considered a c/c, but too much chance this guy will check down. I think about T200 raise, make it look like a scared 9x,while still denying odds for backdoor FD. I doubt you'll see a set here, so if he shoves the turn I'd call.

Ugh...

Push. Yeah, 55 is looking somewhat more likely here but my money says he has KcJc or KcTc and now has a bazillion outs.
