Carrera, eh. 911 is a much classier car. Depending on what kind of chicks you're going for, you might want to consider the a 356. Mmmmmm.

Cayenne, Boxster are both turn-offs for any girl who knows the first thing about cars.

M3s are pretty, but don't hold a candle to a 911 or 356 IMO. I'd rather date a guy with a Honda than an M3.

If you're going to get a manual, go Porsche. For an automatic, go M3. If you do end up getting a Porsche, look up your local Porsche Club of America (PCA) if you're in the States. Good hook-ups for mechanics and a great social network.

Very good idea here about PCA, I have 3 friends in this club and they get a magazine called panorama that has some very nice, well maintained cars for sale in their as along with the website. PCA

Lol @ both these posts. What are you guys talking about?? The Carrera IS part of the 911 lineup. Look at Porsche's website for starters. It is the Porsche 911 Carrera or the Porsche 911 Carrera S.

I have driven both the E46 M3 (6 speed manual) and the Porsche Carrera S. As far as handling and performance, the 911 Carrera S wins hands down. The car is just on rails, and it feels much lighter and nimble than the M3. Also, the pedal response and acceleration is right there. You press the pedal, and it just goes, no questions asked.

Now, if you are factoring price.. New 911 Carrera is between 70-80k and a used M3 is gonna run you 30-40k. M3 is probably the more practical decision. Although, if you are a TRUE Balla, you will wait for the new M3 (V8 engine) and buy that one. Its gonna be in the $50-60k range though [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
