This thread is about things you don't know how to do but probably should.

Swim?

I've fished for trout in the Merced River in the summertime, in water up to my waist. I've surf fished along the CA coast, occasionally having waves hit me above waist high. Not dead yet.

I run good.

I have never ironed anything either. But ironing is pretty useless - just throw it in the drier with a damp towel, and in 5 minutes the wrinkles are gone. I learned that in OOT.

i've tried this but i never know how much to dampen the towel. you just run it under the sink a bit?

i recently got some shirts that can't be put in the dryer, and got an ironing board and iron for christmas, so i'll have to experiment soon.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just think of how wet a towel is when you take it out of the washer. That wet.

ok while we're on this topic, how do people not know how to swim? seriously....

i don't remember ever "learning" how to swim.. besides just getting in the water and kicking and flailing arms. do people just sink to the bottom or something? it's pretty intuitive. or are people just scared and panic?

never having changed a diaper = never having been left alone with your child for any significant amount of time.

that's the problem i see with it.
