Default Free Microsoft Office 2007

Microsoft released a fully functional version of Office 2007 Professional a few weeks ago. It's in Beta2 but very stable and it's basically as good as the final product. IMO it's far better than Office XP or 2003. If you're buying a new PC or just want Office Professional for free (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Publisher) this is the way to go. It's fully functional until February 2007.

Review is here.
Download is here. (short registration involved but you just need any email address).

"Freakin" (the poster) posted this in Computer Help two weeks ago but it got 47 views, thought this might be of interest to some.

In what ways is it better than OpenOffice.org or anything else that won't stop working in February 2007?

When I go through the registration and click the link to download it says "File not found."

Completely different layout, they've done away with a lot of menus and dialogs so things are faster and easier. It loads and does changes MUCH faster. And you get live preview as you move your mouse over the options, so you can preview changes without selecting anything. Plus it looks very sleek. I do a lot of office work and it's the best Microsoft product I've ever seen, the reviews are raving about it too.

Annorax: I used OpenOffice before this too because I wasn't impressed with Microsoft and it was still a pretty good suite. This one is faster, easier to use, less buggy, has more features, is better integrated, and just sleeker and more streamlined.

Yeah I had the same thing, you have to go back to the original beta page and it'll take you to the download.

Click "download the beta now" again, select your country and then you should get redirected to a download site. I used IE, that might help.
