My hand here is good, but not great. I'm not good at this spot, should I lead and fold to agression? If I get a call do slow down on turn/river? I decided to c/c

Turn: ($8) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $8, Hero calls $8

His turn bet is bigger than I expected, in hindsight maybe I should have c/f? I figured I can still c/c here and fold to another bet on the river if I don't improve and if he slows down maybe I can get a free showdown

River: ($24) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $14, Hero raises to $51, UTG+2 folds

Not sure about hand #1. I would probably just call the river. But hand #2 is terrible, bet about $40, you are allowing hands to play perfectly against you.
