Default $1 SNG 89s HU Turn Decision OESFD 3 suits

I'm sorry I don't have the exact hand history as I am naming it from memory.

The villian in the hand is best described as tight/passive, and had doubled up after being on the ropes twice with ~3k vs ~12k in chips, with the hero having 12k in chips. (AK>33, K8>K9)

Since then, villian developed a chip lead of ~9k-6k.

Action was something like this: Hero has 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] as BB and Villian minraises to 1,200 at 300/600 blinds.

Hero calls.

Flop comes something like 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villian checks, hero bets 1,500. Villian calls.

Turn comes 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villian bets something like 1,000 or 2,000

Hero?

i wouldn't classify this as an OESFD.

You are drawing to a straight on an already flushed board.
You have a nine high flush draw.

I dont know your stack size.
I dont know why you bet the flop.

there isn't enough info here to respond with advice.

All i can say is the fact that you don't include stack sizes and don't know if he bet 1k or 2k on the turn, means you're not thinking about the right things during a hand or these details become very easy to remember.

Stacks are:

Villian (~9k)
Hero (~6k)

I wasn't clear enough.

Bet on the flop was a position bet. Let's say he bet 1,500 on the turn. Action?

Let's change the hand a little bit.

Hero has Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Flop is 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Turn comes T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Ok, can you see the difference in this hand? It's minor, but significant.

FWIW, I would fold preflop. This really really is spewing and -$EV. In addition, my hunch is you won't really get what I'm saying here, and I fear you are going to take what I've written and misapply it. Also, you are not being disciplined enough to get the most value out of your tournaments.
