Default iTunes

Has anyone else had problems adding new folders to library? It always worked for me in the past. Then one day it just stopped. I upgraded to the latest version of the software and it worked again. Now it has stopped adding the again. I go through all the normal steps and nothing happens. I've also tried some other methods of adding the folders (and even individual songs) and still nothing happens.

I just switched to Winamp too on my new laptop. I elected not to use the plugin that comes bundled with Winamp and got the one that's maintained open source since it has more features.

rhapsody is a good alternative because you can do everything you can do with itunes, including buying songs and albums. if you get a membership you can listen to any music as much as you want to on the computer and watch music videos and such. but you can't add those onto the ipod without buying them. i haven't had any problems with it.
