Hero?

Villian seem like a very solid player after 100 hands played.

I over bet the pot on the turn. I thought that he is calling the flop bet with a big spade. How do others proceed?

Thanks, Dave

Bet 9 on flop, then like 20+ on turn.

$4 on flop? you really want him to get the right price on his draw? or are you looking to b/3b or is it any excuse to fold on a monotone board? if hes solid, and youre oop,

pot flop, pot turn, c/c river.

raise to 4x preflop, you don't need to but it makes building pots a lot easier especially at this limit where players aren't so aggressive and you need to do the betting.

Bet pot on the flop, bet 3/4 -> full pot on turn. Bet pot on river unless it's a spade. In which case c/f or make a blocking bet and fold.

I bet full pot on flop and turn, shut down if another spade comes, otherwise do what you can to get the money in.

Thank you for all of the input. I see my bets are to small. Of course till I got to the turn and over bet the pot to the tune of $50 because I was scared to death that he might make a flush. All I can do is post and participate more.

Thanks again, Dave
