usa overview request
Can anyone please give me a brief overview of the usa on line status? I had thought that the law was designed to prevent kids or idiots from running up huge credit card bills. Since I am willing to deposit cash I did not think it would affect me. But things seem worse than I thought Do I need to establish an overseas address and bank account to be able to play? Any suggestions on how best to do that?
Or are there good sites which will accept US cash players. I'd hate to find out that the careful work I have done studying and practicing is now completely wasted. What are other us players doing. Thanks for any information.

In view of the responses I thought I should mention that I did check both faqs (site and this forum) and found nothing on this subject. It also should noted that this issue might change rapidly and old information might be wrong.

All that anyone has to do is either scan the titles of threads for the past few weeks and read the relevant posts, or use the Search system.
It's obvious that there are bound to be many threads on such a common subject over any two or three weeks period.

Go to the poker site you want to play on. Go to the cashier page. Check the deposit options. See which deposit option works best for you.

As you think the people who ask such basic questions without having the respect to read the last few dozen posts by Zoo posters do read the stickies I have added a link to the Funding thread in the Neteller, etc, sticky.

Having a collection of correct & concise information would be very useful to everyone trying to get money in & out.
