is this cardrunner stuff we are talking about?
Can subscribing to cardrunners be justified to a 10nl player with a $500 bankroll, who is not sure if they will keep playing poker for the forseeable future?

[/ QUOTE ]

No it is not. You don't technically need cardrunners. All you need is to know the fundamentals and how to manipulate them correctly given the situations you are in.

OMGOSH LT22 will tell you off now.

LOL@ Irony also, check out a quote from LT22's site [ QUOTE ]
If You've Watched Every Poker Video Out There And Are Still Not Winning You're Not Alone!
You have probably watched a ton of other poker videos. While many of them do a good job of teaching very basic techniques, they often fail at teaching you how to think like a pro. Instead you are taught how to become a clone and not how to develop a unique style.

That is why I say it is not needed. As for what is in bold, I wonder why that is the case? A wise man once told me you cannot be taught how to play good poker, it is something you have to see for yourself. People can tell you all day but unless you see it for yourself then it does not matter. This is why you see so many 20/15 types that suck horrible post-flop. FT NL25 is full of tight aggressive players who play that way b/c of this forum or books or videos but can't think for themselves and lack total creativity thus making them marginal winners at best.

Jesus Noob ... here i check two plus two on my gimmick account in Brussels (no way I'm logging onto Gelford from a nonprivate computer) and here you are waving your e-penis around as usual.

And you play what ... ??? Is it still 10NL ... in all the whinning you produce its hard to tell.

Anyway ... LT22 has a lot more class and way better results than you ever produced (BTW he is banned already ... heh)

Edited.

I'm not going to rise to your comments any more gelford.

I dont know who promoted you to uNL GOD, maybe your monitor is broken and you think your username is now green(mod)?

Please do not quote or reply to me with your childish comments.

Coming from soneone who recently posted "GELFORDS RULES" i'd say you have serious E-penis issues.

Good luck in the future, now please go here and click "IGNORE USER" and we'll avoid eachother from today.

Depends if it takes you a while to get "In the grove". I hate short sessions, so i'd not play till i could get 1-2hours in and build reads/image/play my best.

o.k. kaz I'll show you the way but I'm not going to do it for you - I want u to think for yourself a little and you'll obviously have to use the notation your teachers use LDO.

1st part

1. By definiton of the mooment generating function MGF

(E is expectation exp(X) = e^X )

M(t) = E( exp(tX) )

E[x] = d M(t) /dt i.e derivative of the MGF

Var[x] = E[x^2] - ( E[X])^2 where Var is the variance -don't forget the question asks for the s.d.

So with these parts and abilty to diffentiate M(t) w.r.t t you can do part I as you have already done anyways.

2. Standard properties of expectation
E[aX + b ] = a E[X] + b

we know E[x] from part 1 differentiation so

E[W] = E[2X+7]
apply above PROEPRTY and get E{W] = some f(t)

i'll get on part 2 in a sec

BTW Gelford

Is that where your band plays sometimes?
