I bet 475 on the turn and shove the river, hardly any of his range should be improved there.

I raise 4*BB+limpers=120 preflop.
Flop bet is fine.
I bet 400 on the turn to charge him.
On the river I value bet half the pot.
No draw got there and I am not that scared of a 9, because calling with 9x preflop, on flop and turn makes little sense.
I think he is chasing or has TP.

Reason I had checked on river was I figured 9 did nothing and honestly felt he had air. I thought any bet would not have gotten called, I was hoping he'd bluff at river.

If he had AT or something like that he'd have likely raised flop.

Bad thinking?

I like your logic but I wouldn't do this without a decent read.
