Re: 200NL, JJ wants a little more value
not sure. He is soooo passive, he'll probably only raise your river with the NF. But at the same time he could easily have a Q or flush. And what hands would he have that you beat to make it worth it? TT, 88, 77, A6? i lean toward check river.

Re: 200NL, JJ wants a little more value
I definately bet/fold here, $15-$20ish. He calls your turn bet with a massive range, the flush isn't a big part of it.

Re: 200NL, JJ wants a little more value
Well, you missed a few bb's of value on the turn with your bet size...that'd be a start. If he's calling $7, he's calling $11. Diamond's a bad card because it's harder for him to call you now with 77. You can bet/fold $16 or so I suppose.
Also, explain your flop play. |

Re: 200NL, JJ wants a little more value
I think i just check behind. What would he call a river bet with? I doubt he calls with 77, 88, or TT. But if he is capable of raising with these pairs, then it's an even easier check.

Also, explain your flop play. [/ QUOTE ] I had been cbetting a ton and figured this was a pretty safe flop for me to change it up a little bit, and perhaps get called down lighter on a later street. |

[/ QUOTE ] Well, if that was your reasoning, I don't agree with your flop play. Better would be a flop bet, turn check behind, river call or bet if checked too. You need to give him a chance to call you light (with say 55), so do it on the flop where chance are greatest that he will do so. |

AJ. if u bet the flop and wanna call a river bet, consider betting the turn instead and checking the river as a better line, by quite a reasonable amount

I don't think its bad to check the flop once in awhile to mix it up.

I'm curious why you would choose to try to get only one street of value though? |
