Default SWEET Trade for the New York Rangers

Last night the Czech National Team, err...I mean the Rangers traded Maxim Kondratiev a 23 year old undersized defenseman who has shown some potential to the Mighty Ducks for Petr Sykora (a FA after this year) and a 4th round pick.

The Rangers will have to take a $1.5 million cap hit, but that still leaves them $4 million under.

The Rangers will finally have 2 good scoring lines:

Rucinsky - Straka - Jagr
Prucha - Nylander - Sykora

This also allows them to move that [censored] Rucchin to the checking line (centering Ward and Niemenen) where he belongs.

Adding Sykora to a weak PP unit will also be a plus.

I really like this one for the Rangers.

excellent!

looks like the Ducks were just dumping salary. This is a good pick up for the Czech national team, he will fit in better with this type of offense.
