Per KFFL.com, Brees just signed with the Saints a few minutes ago. Almost immediaetly after the Culpepper trade.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow. Poor Drew Brees. I feel so bad for that guy right now.

The Saints snagging Brees (for 6 years) has tremendous potential to shake things up on draft day.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, when the Saints go ahead and pick Leinart still, it's going to be awesomely funny.

Yeah...I don't know what the Jets do now. Do they trade a 5th for Ramsey than use their 1st for Leinhart/Cutler/Young? I can't see them essentially spending 2 picks on QB's this year.

[/ QUOTE ]

Move Abe for a pick, see how high it is. Draft Leinart/Cutler, use the other pick on an olineman or, depending on how high the pick it, a back.

I don't want anything to do with Ramsey.

Nor do I but from all accounts in the papers thats the direction the Jets look to be moving towards. We'll see.

Stolen from a Jets message board that I lurk at. WFAN is reporting an UNCONFIRMED, repeat: UNCONFIRMED rumor that the Jets and Skins worked out a deal:

Skins get:
Abraham

Jets get:
Ramsey
Skins 2006 2nd Round
Skins 2007 1st Round

This would be a great deal for the Jets even if the Skins are really good next year. It's almost too good to be true, which is also why I'm not believing it.

Looks like the Brees trade should shake up the draft.

If any team is dumb enough to make that deal, its the Skins.

They're clearly gonna try to trade down.

Where will Brooks end up? Predictions?
