Default NL50 river decision with a set

No reads on villain at the time, no logged hands so he's not a regular.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed)

Hero ($63.46)
MP ($41.38)
Button ($87.15)
SB ($66.68)
BB ($53.11)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, MP calls $2, Button calls $2, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($6.75) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $5</font>, MP folds, Button calls $5.

Turn: ($16.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $13.5</font>, Button calls $13.50.

River: ($43.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero...

I have just below a psb left, about $43. Sure there's a straight on board but the only logical hand to make it is 43 (the pf call would be interesting but this is party) or a pair of 8's. Obviously I'm never folding on this river, just wondering if you bet/call something like $25 or just push? I think a c/c is losing value from some Q'hands, maybe a slowplayed set (yes, people slowplay sets to the river on party occasionally). Either way, this sucks.

I am betting with the intention of getting it in. I think a few hands could call a bet but will check behind here.

EDIT: He could also have 87. However, the problem here is that I don't think I could ever fold the river so it's probably better if I do the betting to perhaps get a crying call from a weaker hand.

He could have a straight, he could also have a dumb two pair or a set of fives and none of those hands will bet this river, but they could call a bet.

Obviously ;x. Just wondering if people would bet $25ish or just push OR if someone would c/f.

Im not pushing here, Im going to b/c. I would say b/f but the stacks dont allow that obviously.
