They are not that good and looking at the D1 etc they squeak by. Fun team to watch, though. The Yankees have an easy schedule the rest of July and if they don't gain at least 5 games on the Red Sox they are doomed to an early exit and fishing by October. -Zeno

Well, I suppose I should have clarified. The Chicago Cubs are one of the top 5 teams in baseball RIGHT NOW. Looking at their run differential, they aren't that far back overall, either.
I do believe they will win 95+ games. I am drunk, though.

Cubs have 73 games left.
17 of these games are against teams under .500 56 of these games are against teams over .500 43-30 gets them to 90 wins which should put them in good shape for the division or the wild card. Hopefully MLB wont get in the way of any trades...
