i didnt have any reads on this guy. i probly should have but i wasnt paying enough attention i guess.

obviously i probably shouldnt be calling pf raise w/ AJo, and i probably should have raised more on the flop.

Without stats or a read, I don't call raises with AJo. Being in position makes this play a little better. But if you think you are ahead of his range and he raises light, you should use your position to bully him out and reraise and not give him a look at the flop. But that is not my standard line against an unknown.

Turn is weird. This is a massive overbet. He bets like 4x the pot. You have a great redraw if he has a flush. J7 and J2 are rather unlikely considering his PFR. 77, 22 are good guesses. It would be really neat to know how villain got to be 200 BBs deep. I don't mind the fold. But I think there is a very good chance that he is full of it here or has a worse J like JT, QJ etc.

If I'm going to play AJ on the button to a raiser I will r.r most of the time to get a better understanding of where I’m at.

As played, it's a fold without any reads.

We're going to be shown AKc full house a good % of the time. I don’t want to go broke this deep and hope to be shown KJ qq-aa

Well, not without a read. He either wants to bully you out or he thinks: I have the nuts, I go all-in or he has a very good hand and thinks you will call anything and just pushes. 2 of those alternatives aren't good for you. That's why I said it'd be neat to know how he got his stack. If you were shorter, you could assume that he is bullying you with more ease. But you are very deep as well. So if he doesn't think you are scared to lose your stack, he probably wants your monies. And the board is so coordinated, that it would be a really couragous bluff.

So fold and watch him closely if he is one of those guys who just overbet any pot with anything to bully people around.

I'm not too confident this deep but I would have a hard time folding with the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

I'm in the camp for 3betting this pf FWIW.

he left a few hands after this one. like i said earlier, i should have had a read on him if we both have 2 buy ins since i should have been paying enough attention to have some kind of line on how he plays.

i know though that just in general players arent good at playing deepstacked and they make spewy shoves because they are afraid of playing anymore poker. i feel theres a strong psosibility he has something like QQ KK or AA here, saw the 2nd jack on the turn, got scared and open shoved.

of course i guess i cant know though since i dont know whether or not hes a good player. woulda been nice to have the read at the time.

for just 1 buy in im insta calling.
