NL(.50) A-high flush facing all-in on river.
Villain in this hand is a regular, possibly a 2+2er.
He runs at 20/10/3 on about 2K hands. What do I do on this river? Is a fold too nitty? I know I played the hand weakly but the river bet had me convinced I was beat. Re: NL(.50) A-high flush facing all-in on river.
Alright, bumping for the afternoon crowd. I think a case could be made for both calling and folding. This is really a tough decision against this type of player who plays position well (He has a VP$IP of 30 from the button).

fold isn't bad given his stats- its probably what I find

Re: NL(.50) A-high flush facing all-in on river.
Button only limped after several people. There is almost no chance he has KK.
Why would he raise a full house on the flop, especially when he has position for the rest of the hand? He could be raising an overpair or some kind of combo draw, 7x fearing the draws. You check called turn and are stronger than he could ever believe. The king doesn’t change anything unless he has K7s. Call river and expect to be good most of the time. |

I would think the flush coming in would slow him up if he had a hand like A7 unless he hit his own flush with KQ, KJ, or some weird combo draw. I guess he also could have put me on a weak 7. Pocket fours is a good canidate here. I need poker stove to crunch some numbers. |
