Default 1.5 GB at 266 or 1 GB at 333??

Which is faster? I have no idea.

I have .5 GB of 266 RAM
I have 1 GB of 333 RAM

Should I run the computer at 1 gig of 333 or 1.5 of 266?

Default Re: 1.5 GB at 266 or 1 GB at 333??

can you bump up your fsb to actually run the RAM @ 333? If so then yes...1GB @ 333 > 1.5G @ 266. If your puter is already running at 266 fsb and cant go faster than slap in the biggest mix you can (333 sticks will run on 266 comps....not vice-versa, and running 333 in a 266 fsb comp yields zero performance increase)
