y dont people just learn to play real isntruments?

[/ QUOTE ]

y don't people just play in the NFL instead of playing Madden?

[/ QUOTE ]

The Patriots are essentially treating all NFL teams as if they are playing on Rookie mode in Madden

lol, nice. Also, if you look in the pic I put my real fender strat side by side the rock band one for comparison. So yea I do play guitar in real life. I also play backyard football with my friends, that doesn't make madden less fun.

Cool thing is that if you master the drums on expert level you will actually be able to play a real 4 piece drum set.

Cry me a river that sucks it doesn't come out in Canada for another month. As to your dilemma I think the drum's won't sell individually until February (not sure about Canada) and it looked like they were going for $80, which makes it worth it to just get the whole set instead of the game only.

Yeah, then I'm still left with is it time for me to finally go next gen or do I stick with PS2.... I've been thinking about a trip across the border this week-end to pick up a PS3 because of the deal at Wal-Mart (10 free blu-ray movies with purchase, plus the perpetual 5 free movies, equals 15 free movies). However, I'm not really THAT big on a bunch of free movies (I have the Internet) and to date 360>>>PS3. So, meh...

If I drove down (we're 40 mins from US) I could hopefully pick up Rock Band too...
