if you check this turn, then u call riv shove every time. thats how it works

[/ QUOTE ]

disagree, what is ge suddenly deciding to push the turn with that he called the flop? Not a whole lot of vb combos we beat, and as for bluffs, what could he have?

Any 10x. Don't look into get into the mind of a donk. He could easily think he's value betting JJ or whatever. I agree with Colombo that once you check the Q turn, you have to c/c the river.

44/17 --> call
0.7 --> fold

I think the second point is more important, I have a very hard time seeing what he pushes on river apart from TT/QQ/KK/AA all very possible. We get bad odds and line looks very strong...

[/ QUOTE ]

this is true but given that the sample is small im weighting it more towards the 44/17 which makes it look like he's there to mix it up/capable of betting at weakness, plus he cc a three bet, which with those stats says donkified.

Against a competent decent somewhat thinking player i totally agree.

Against a complete donk, I totally disagree

he's already defined his range as something with either weak showdown value or something that wants more money in the pot a lot of the time, and now he's shoving an overcard river, i doubt he's doing this with AK or JJ, just toss it.

the pf cold call kinda shook me up (although his stats were donkish I hadn't seen alot from him really), didnt really know what range to put him on, didnt think he was gonna call with too much worse.

I think the reason to fold is becasue he is 44/17/0.7, in my experience this guy has AA or KK a lot when he shoves the river.

But I can also see an argument for calling casue liek you said occasionally they show up with middle pair or JJ or something

[/ QUOTE ]

Clearly a case for both sides. I have found the .7 to be a reliable tell and vote fold.
