i am having an aim convo with a 2p2er friend and he is telling me about an offer he was getting regarding making money through writing a blog, and wants to show me the convo. "ok" i say, and i accept the direct IM

then he says "LOL KEYLOGGED NOW UR FUKED"

i instantly turn off the laptop, unplug the wire, and walk as fast and quietly as i can across my sleeping household at 4 AM to the office computer to fire off a quick email to stars support to get my account frozen. then, it takes about 30 minutes for me to be convinced that the 2p2er friend is in fact said 2p2er and not some kind of hacker. though, in the back of my mind i had always felt a legit keylogger hacker or whatever wouldnt actually tell me this in the form of LOL KEYLOGGED UR FUKED

so anyways, 2 quick lessons:

1) NEVER ACCEPT ANY DIRECT TRANSFER CRAP OVER AN IM SERVICE

2) NEVER JOKE ABOUT HACKING THROUGH AN IM SERVICE

because it will make both parties basically miserable.
