What is AC?

I keep seeing people use the term ACism but as far as I can tell it's a made up abbreviation for something and it isn't used anywhere else on the web that I can find.

Might be helpful to put that in a sticky somewhere cause half of the stuff posted here uses that word and it doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense if you don't define the term.

I put my life and my fate at the hands of the market at least a dozen times each day. Its worked pretty well so far, I'm optimistic about the future, but nothing is perfect. I'll probably die in a horrible toaster mishap at some point.
