Does Pacific suck?

Hi, I'm newbie here and this is my 1st post. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Anyway, I've been playing at Party (I'm not US) and now I'm planning to move to other sites.

Primarily, I planned to move to Stars, but I heard that Pacific is so juicy.

But so many ppl in this site says that pacific is rigged and discredit.

How do you guys think about PacificPoker?

Will it be better to play at Stars? I play 5/10~10/20 Limit.

Um, if you can find a 5/10 or 10/20 limit game, then go for it. Check PokerSiteScout. After the split, I don't see many 5/10 or 10/20 games running there.

I was attracted by Pacific because of lousy players, lol.
Heard they are soooooo loooooooose.

The players are awful, but so is the support and software.

The site isn't going to rip you off though.

There should be some games in that range at Pacific.

Yep, 1st it was NL, then 6max, then multi-tabling, then the loss of the USA fish... Pacific used to be amazing, but it's gone down hill badly over the last year or so.

PS: They have also recently messed up their SNG structures. They basically went from 800 to 1200/1500 chips without changing the blind structure - the SNGs now take sooooo long to finish it's like torture! They also decided at the same time to remove some of the most popular SNGs (such as the $33 20-man/$54 6-man) and replace them with a bazillion SNGs nobody ever signs up for...

100% correct. The games used to be so incredible I averaged almost 3BB an hour playing one table of limit during the 15/30 and 30/60 heydays. It used to be the softest site by far.
