Re: 33 on JJ8, tight player raises?
I don't like your preflop reraise. 33 is not such a powerful hand at these blind level to reraise with it. Also, your minreraise accomplishes nothing except that you build pot with a marginal hand. Either reraise more or call (I prefer calling). Postflop line is hyperaggressive but I don't like it. It is not bad but I think if you have no information about villain here, you have to suspect you are beat here most of the time.

Re: 33 on JJ8, tight player raises?
This whole hand is fubared.
Why are you 3-betting 33 pre-flop? Why are you raising the flop? In this situation, you call and re-evaluate. Raising means you are bluffing with what amounts to air. |

Re: 33 on JJ8, tight player raises?
Yeah, I remember this hand - I put you on QQ+ actually with this min preflop raise and my min raise was to induce an all-in from you - (I had J here)
The guy is fairly tight lmao, actually normally i have VPIP of about 65% heads up so am close to maniac. |

It's always good to see solid reads.
What level is this at and at NLCASH to title please. Give Mr. San Diego a break. |

Re: 33 on JJ8, tight player raises?
If you're going to reraise pre, reraise at least the pot (x3 his bet, so 135). He'll fold ~0% of the time if you just double his bet.

Re: 33 on JJ8, tight player raises?
This is a losing play as only a hand that beats you is calling. Fold and look for a better spot. I wouldn't reraise this out of position either, I'm a nit but I'd just be looking to hit a set.

1 word: awful [/ QUOTE ] I agree. Just wanted a reaction. But rat blue, you must be schizofrenic or something because the guy had 88 and it is from boss media so you cannot really see your VP$IP. I was thinking that the postplay perhaps could be right since he actually raises me here. When you play very LAG it is usually pretty easy to read people on this board. Either they have a jack and check/call you (slowplaying) or they try to raise-bluff u. I also thought the play could be ok with this in mind AND that the guy is tight so he perhaps could fold it. But I still think the play is pretty bad on most streets :P. EDIT: Oops, It could have been crypto (probably was) but anyways, the guy was tight, 65 VP$IP my ass. |
