Re: 27$ - QQ on a rags board
ummm. well i would think hmmm maybe hes got AJ or is bluffing. and the way i bet i'm sorta committed. plus you bet it really strong the whole way down so i don't see him having a 3 all that often. so i'm affraid of an 8 then. And people don't generally like 8,10s although it is possible so if he had 98s than he flopped the straight, or he could have 8,7s or 8,6s both of which might have raised me on the flop or soemthing. but basically those are the hands i put him on that beat me

I also think that villian might have a set. Many players play a set really passively. I am often betting a little more PF b/c we are OOP and are happy to take down the pot right here. Flop bet is okay, but the turn bet should be bigger, that you can shove the river. You have to call the river, because there are many hands that you have beat and sense weakness in your check and bet. Even weak Villians would fold a weak draw on the turn so he might have 88-10 or a Jack. |

why would u call river? [/ QUOTE ] Because I seem to have forgotten to shove? I think I'm ahead much better than one in four here. |
