Default Stars $27 - AK, 3rd Level

If this was the first 2 levels I'd fold. I didn't really know what to do here though:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB (t1665)
BB (t1370)
UTG (t1490)
Hero (t1450)
MP1 (t2745)
MP2 (t972)
CO (t1470)
Button (t2338)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t250</font>, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to t1370</font>

??

Any reads on the BB? Seems pretty tight with that chip count.

Standard raise from EP and an over the top...looks like chances are this is gonna be a coin flip. Call is probably the right move but a fold isn't a terrible move as it saves you from having to gamble this early in the tourney. Obviously AA and KK are possibilies.

I'd probably call then get pissed at myself when BB showed KK and go on massive tilt.

I would call and bite my tongue im not against AA or KK besides that AK has a fair chance vs all hands..

Folding is terrible... you surely have enough equity vs his range for this to be a call every time.

If you have a read, then judge accordingly. No read, it's do you want to gamble. Am I missing something?

the raise to 250 instead of 300 or 400 preflop only increases his pushing range I am more than happy to instacall here

I didn't have any reads on the guy, forgot to put that in my post. Also, it was 4th level, not 3rd.

Anyway, I called and he had QQ and I won the flip. This was the absolute biggest hand I expected him to show up with here.

Thanks for the comments.
