Default NFL Pool Question

For the last 2 years I participated in an NFL Pool. Every week you get a card with 15 games on and it and the betting lines from the newspaper that day (Thursday). The person who picks the most games right for that week wins a % of the pool for that week. If there is a tie it carries over.

At the end of the season it pays for the top 3 spots based on best overall record for the season.

I was wondering if anyone had a strategy I could try. I usually do decent but I never got in the top 3.

I usually read this forum for picks to help with my own analysis but with 15 games it gets a little tough to know which side to take.

Any ideas for a strategy/system?

Thanks Guys.

Default Re: NFL Pool Question

Before gametime Pinnacle or a big online bookie like it will have the most efficent lines.

The lines througout the weekend (after Thursday) will change according to any news about the game and betting volumes on the lines.

Compare the thursday lines with the gametime lines.
