Default $16: Inducing a shorty early

I opened here b/c I saw BB was super short and expected him to shove really wide over me. Thoughts?

I think our hand is too weak here. I'd feel much more comfortable with like 99+/AQ+ here. Not sure how wide he's going to shove over you and for the blind level he's not really super short. I just don't like calling off roughly 1/3rd of your chips so weakly when we're not really crushed that many hands (other than ax).

if you knew what he was going to do and he did your trap worked hope your hand held up over his range of hands.
if this was your goal you did everything perfect. small raise to keep from being squeezed and call his bet.
now the A10 sooted however is the smalest hand i want to do this with.

This might be pretty good when you have a solid read BB is one of those donks who lost most of his stack in the last hand and will push any 2 now over a raise.
Since you only got ATs it's prolly a variance increaser but yeah I can't say I hate it.

If by wide you mean wider then 66+,A7s+,KTs+,A9o+,KQo. Then this is good.

in these smaller buyin turbos the range on a guy waiting to shove with no stats is usually somewhere around the first hand dealt to him. ive seen everything from sooted connectors to anything better. however with that being said this could bring up another argument for not gambling knowing you are still up against 2 randoms and have the dreaded 2 live card sweat
