I'm looking for a new pair of shoes (hopefully under $100). Something that will hopefully be casual enough to go with jeans, while also dressy enough for khakis and a dress shirt. Keep in mind I'm also in college, so I don't want anything that will look too out of place.

Maybe something like this from J. Crew:

Thoughts?

Any other suggestions? Brands to look for, or ones to avoid?

It seems like a pretty decent shoe for the money.

Avoid Kenneth Cole (this cannot be said enough)

How do Allen Edmonds run size wise? I'm usually about a 10D-10.5D but haven't bought any Allen Edmonds before.

I find they run true to my size. 9.5D. If you're ordering over the internet, make sure the place has a good return policy the first time you order.

I find that for the most part all the fall fashions are black/white this and gray/black that. Pretty boring stuff.

The more you try to follow fashion trends the more you're left in their tracks.

Thoughts on this Gaelic football jersey. The back has the lettering for County Limerick in Gaelic.

They didn't have a greener jersey in stock, no?

I really like this jacket but don't particularly like the $550 price tag, any advice on where I can find the same/a similar jacket for less?

I like this coat too, is it warm enough for Winter? I live in Canada...

Or general advice on winter coats would be much appreciated!

Are any of you guys FW 10-20 regulars? I saw someone who plays taggish wearing almost the exact same outfit someone posted in here. You can PM if you are, I don't check this forum much.

Manque, thoughts on Church's shoes?

Any consensus on getting made to measure suits from Hong Kong tailors like wwchan.com? They're roughly the same cost of off the rack suits at nice US stores.

I was looking for a new pair of jeans with these guidelines:
1) Fairly plain back pocket design
2) Classic style -- not slim and not bootcut or baggy
3) Not super trendy brand like 7

The most suitable brands I found were Hiltl from Mark Shale and Indigo Palms (Tommy Bahama brand) from Nordstrom. I hadn't heard of Hiltl before, but they seem pretty nice and they have a unique "hidden" zippable rear pocket to store cash.

re: jeans

A.P.C. is a french minamlist clothier that is well known for their jeans.
p.s. Do not throw your jeans in the washer.
