hehe, here is the reason I'm opposed to the freerolls. Many of the players are limit players who suck ass at NL

I really hope the WCOOP events are considered.

I don't know if I'm going to attempt a run at Elite next year or not yet. But I do know that if the WCOOP events were offered as one of the options I would jump on it.

I think it would be pretty easy to implement. Stars could even offer 12kW$ (or something similar) that were non-transferable and expired after the WCOOP to keep it simple.

On a personal note, I would enjoy the challenge of improving my Stud and Omaha games that this opportunity would provide.

I like the idea of playing day-in and day-out chasing after the bracelot, similar to what a lot of the higher-stakes players do with the WSOP.

Please consider this as an option for next year! That is all...

This is a definite option to be considered for the low-stakes grinder type who makes it to SNE.
For me, I would assume I would have a high chance of cashing occasionally if I played every WCOOP event so at least I would "get back" some of my money and may even end up with a slight profit on my 12k in W$ or whatever.

Whereas to cash in the Monte Carlo or PCA I simply would need better luck and it would most likely be a lot of money that I ended up flushing away just for a nice trip.

If I had a gigantic bankroll and a ton of money to spare then the big events would be fine.
But for a low-bankroll grinder I like my chances of trying to get back some of that money by playing as many lower buy-in events as I can.

$200-$1000 buy-in events in the WCOOP don't really seem that small overall. But compared with just letting it all ride in one $15k entry super-donkament I definitely like my chances a bit better.

Having to commit to the WCOOP every single day for that whole stretch could be something of a pain. But if I could be pretty sure I was available for every one of those bad-boys then it is an option I would definitely consider.

Good post as usual Bob.

The higher stakes players probably wouldn't really want this option and would probably rather play in the bigger events.

But this option is pretty good for those who either don't like or simply can't travel as well as those of us that don't have a big bankroll. Not everybody playing high-volume is crushing the games with a big winrate. Some players are actually losing a little bit to get there.
