Actually, one of the guys who moved us gave us his card saying he'd be glad to dispose of any trash we generate for a fee.

Don't do that man. Mine is always locked but people still break the lid and squeeze their stuff in there. If I ever catch one of them I will be filling their car with all the garbage in the bin. Just a matter of time it is going to be sweet.

It is different in each area but my local recycling depot lets me drop off cardboard, plastic, newspapers, and pretty much anything but household garbage for free if I sort it.
