I have never played limits so high. Do people 3 bet so much from the SB that you need to call with JTs? You don't exactly have enough money behind to profitably call his PF RR hoping to hit the flop big. Your hand plays well when there is a lot of money left and you have position. So, did you have a plan after calling PF? Will he 2 barrel with an underpair/AQ? Will he check behind on the turn with a hand hoping to checkraise you? (ie a turn check isnt an indicator you are good)

We don't have to bet if checked to on the turn. I think checking behind on the turn given the option and folding to a large bet on the river is a perfectly reasonable line.

I'm not saying we should bet on the turn if checked to. I'm asking if we will get the option when he has nothing or if his check won't mean a thing. Also, if he does check the turn and we check behind, will his river bet be because he had given up the hand on the turn and saw us give him another green light to bluff by checking behind? or will it mean he tried for a checkraise and is river betting for value?

I think you just have to muck it here. Even if you call and peel this flop, you basically only want to see a J on the turn which leaves your options slim if he decides to put you on a weak hand and double-barrel with A10/AQ + random trash (+ monsters ofc). Any club, A, K, Q, 10 and you have no idea where you stand.

Because you will miss most of the time and give up, or you get into a murky situation like this most of the time you hit.

Why would you call pf?

are you good at playing postflop or are you not? do you want to have a wide range or not? there are plenty of reasons why mucking here every time makes you so much easier to deal with.
