I think TJ Cloutier is somewhat underrated in the poll responses. He strikes me as having the right style for the format, and I think he can hold his own against good players, unlike Hellmuth.

How is the knowledge of SnG strategy any help for PAD? Isn't the defining feature of SnG that drives the strategy the 50-30-20 payout?

Yes PAD is winner takes all so all chips ha equal value all the time.

Some STT strategy are good to know though like when to push and when to fold when the blinds gets high - but most player should know how to play short stack poker.
