Going to far leak?

FTP .25/.50 limit 9 max

This is my 3rd orbit and the table has been playing pretty tight. Lots of blind stealing meaning that it gets folded to HJ pretty often. Preflop has been pretty passive.

Poker Stove says I am a slight dog to his total range if not stealing here.

In real life I called. I have 2 outs if I am behind and I may be ahead. When reviewing this hand I see where the b/f line may be the cheapest way to go instead of the c/c line. Is that the correct way to play this.

I havent played FR in a long time, but given the table conditions described this looks like a preflop fold to me.

Given that you called preflop I'd call this flop and turn and reevaluate the river.

open limping this in MP is asking to get iso-raised in this game.

c/r the flop is only good when you are sure that villain will 3 bet if and ONLY IF he has an overpair, and wont get tricky by smooth calling and then raising the turn, or 3 betting overcards.

otherwise you are stuck with a c/c, c/c, and prob c/f river line (most FR tags do not bet ace high on the river).

I agree with all of this.

Also, if the table's that tight, you might want to go to another one. I'm sure you can find a loose .25/.5 table.

hate the title of this thread.. maybe I've been in BBV4L too much, but everytime I read it.... I read "Going for a leak".

If the table has been playing as tight as you mention.. raising PF is fine here.

Post flop line can go many ways.... just "depends"

I'm pretty much with Boz here. Pre-flop either raise it up or fold it (and if steals have been working I'm perfectly fine with a raise).

As played I'd advocate check-raising and leading a non-ace turn. The actual turn card was pretty safe for you.

This read isn't quite not-contradictory. It actually sounds like the table's been playing weak-tight preflop, with everybody folding to an anticipated LP raise. If that's the case, you should raise this preflop, along with a lot of other hands until the table adjusts to you.

As played, sometimes I'll c/r this flop, sometimes call down. Rarely will I lead.

I agree with boz, if the table is weak tight and you want to play this change the table dynamics and raise it preflop.

As played I agree a check/raise makes the most sense to me.

I'm not quite clear how far you are from the button, but fold preflop. With 33 you want limpers or to steal.
