I like the idea of bringing in Lester to mop this up.

Schilling is only at 77 pitches. But, if the Sox win the ALCS, Schilling will be starting Game 2 of the World Series on his normal four days rest.

If Schilling pitches the 7th, that should definitely be his last innning.

If the score stays the same and they pull Schilling, shouldn't the put Gagne in? If there is a game 7, Lester could go longer if there was a Dice-K meltdown.

Yeah, I think had he been playing CF all year he makes that play. Left center in Boston is weird.

man, i'm on huge tilt right now.

also, lol at the red sox running bad. 3 infield singles, bleeders, etc. not to mention that schilling was getting strike calls that carmona wasn't.

and then it went to 10 and i just started stewing.
