ROFL at the responses to this thread. Most people wouldn't last 5 minutes of something as relatively painless as waterboarding, and nobody would last 2 weeks without going utterly insane. Hey, even sleep deprivation for this period would terminate your sanity.

I'm not sure how long it would take for that sort of pain to drive you insane, but I'd bet its less than two weeks.

No way I'd do 2 weeks for a billion dollars, but...
2 weeks = 48 hours = 2880 minutes = 172800 seconds I'd take 5 seconds of excruciating pain for $28k, though!

Would I take 5 seconds of excruciating pain for $4k? It's hard to say. Can anyone describe what would be the worst pain possible to feel for 5 seconds that stops immediately afterwards?
