I hate this. You probably fold out all the hands you beat and get called my *most* of the hands that beat you.

Why not check behind?

your turn bet makes no sense if you are bluffing at this river.

not true. think about it a little more.

the turn bet gets value from random one pair hands that i win against if i check. but betting is a freeroll if i can get better jacks to fold (the random crap folds too).

as i stated, i put him mostly on exactly a jack, i think if he had two pair or a set i would have heard about it on the turn. i think he bets a flush. probably a straight.

looks mostly like AJ,KJ,QJ to me. if he has a T it has to be T8,T7,TJ. but if he can get to the river with T8 or T7 he can also get to the river with other paired random garbage that doesn't make two pair, and combinatorically thats a lot of hands (i beat them already so it doesnt matter if they fold, and US: i still got value on the turn).

or he has diamonds but he really seemed the straightforward play-his-cards type to lead a flush.

then he checked the river which tells me he didn't have diamonds, so i figure he either has a jack or trash or two pair, which combination wise is far more likely to be trash or a jack. so i bet.

thus betting turn has value, betting river has bluff value. imo.

bad assumption i think, bad players could easily sandbag w/ a flush

i dont think hes folding a J anyway, maybe some lower ones. I'm sticking by my dislike of your bet.

preflop/flop/turn are fine with me, but I don't like what you're doing on the river. This guy won't be folding any 2pairs or straights, and depending on your image/his mood/whatever, I wouldn't be surprised to see him look you up with a jack. He's still going to justify a call with most jacks considering that JT/J9 have pulled ahead and JQ+ is TPGK and this guy is a tagfish station who usually won't fold that in a BvB situation on the river.

I don't see why you don't think he can have something like 56 or 98. Also, I see this type of player make silly checks here with flushes quite often - and if he has a straight, I expect him to just c/c.
