Default Caesars Poker Room under new Managment

Caesars is lowering their time rake on
5-10 NL to $5 a 1/2 hour
some other changes coming. The Poker room is coming under
new Management there will be lots of changes
they are now spreading 4-8 and 8-16 limit also

Thanks for the heads-up. When I was there a couple months ago I walked in and right back out again. Hardly any games going. If they'll now be spreading 8-16 I'll try it again when I go next week.

I'm assuming you mean Caesars Las Vegas since you are from Vegas. Some people might get confused and think its Ind or something. Same with the "trop" posts that show up.

Hopefully this will be a good thing for Caesars as I'm hearing nothing but bad things about the room all the time.

$80 with a single $50 rebuy. 1500 chips for the $80, $3000 more for the $50. 40 minute rounds. Break every two rounds. Blinds/antes each round are:

25/50/0
50/100/0
100/200/25 <-- More than doubles, but it's still early
200/400/50 <-- Your initial 4500 chips looks small now
400/800/100 <-- This doubling stings
600/1200/100 <-- Ahhh... a break from the doubling
1000/2000/200
2000/4000/400 <-- This starts the all-in crapshoot at the final table
3000/6000/500 <-- It's generally like <=5 players here
5000/10000/1000

My comments are based on the (admittedly few) times I've made it deep into the tourney, each time with 60-80 players.

I worked for a Harrah's property here in town for exactly 9 paid days. They asked me if there was anything they could do to help me out in my job. I said..."let me resign". Good bye, never again.

You are right but I worked for Caesars Ent. for 21 years
can't just flush all the seniority down the toilet
their turn over rate for employees is unreal you're not the only one that runs from them it happens everyday
