I must admit to not watching GA Tech's special teams closely, but their kicker is making 2+ FGs per game and their punter is top 10 in the country in average and GA TEch is number 1 in the country in net punting. They are also 11 in kickoff returns. VA Tech has Eddie ROyal, a dangerous return guy on punts. Their punter is good, kicker is good but mostly unproven, and their kickoff return numbers are poor (110 in the country). This is a wash in reputation only. [/ QUOTE ] That's why I called VT's special teams better (the onside kick); they make things happen. VT threatening at the goal line at the end of the first quarter...+2.5 looking good so far.

USC still getting public treatment like the USC of old, even though this edition is probably the 4th best team in the PAC-10 or so. I don't know if they can score enough to cover 15.
