garompon is pretty stubborn. if he has QQ/JJ he'll pay you off i think. i think all streets are fine although i think maybe a turn c/r is better than leading because i think he'll take another shot at it on the turn after your flat call of the flop.

btw, is your stars name a secret? i probably play with you all the time but i dont know who you are.

i like this u are taking a strange line and ur opponent could easily misinterpret this and call with QQ or JJ if he has AA just o well, though did u consider him not having a made hand and checking river to him to allow him to bluff?

ansky, yea that's what i was thinknig at the time. during that session it seemed like i had been switching gears from like 15/10 to 28/22 and back, mostly due to the cards. at this point i was playing pretty snug which is why i just called pf and didn't c/r the flop. i think garom is "good" enough to realize that i wasn't playing crazy and he'd probably be able to read through both of those moves (though not always to a flop c/r)

elf, it's been posted before, i'm Dubness 1. we've played a little bit together

xker17x, i figured a backdoor flush draw was the worst he was callin the turn bet with (which i think i maybe should have made bigger to make a river shove easier for him to call? prolly wouldn't make a huge dif). i doubt he's gonna make a river bluff here if he just calls the turn, i think he checks behind Tx, JJ, and QQ, all the hands i want to call and also checks missed draws a lot of the time

How is this a "sick line" where no overpair folds?

I like a check on the river better. If he actually has overpair, he'll bet it. And he might decided to bluff.
