Pushing turn is a huge overbet. Why don't you lead river?

Obviously bet on the flop, to many draws to make it worth slow playing. If you check on the flop for whatever reason, bet like 3/4 to pot on the turn. Try to get it in before some draws complete.

What are you slow playing the flop for? Lead out obv. If you check face cards on the flop after a large reraise pre you're advertising a big set or top 2. Lead out and hopefully he's got TPTK or is just a donkey. NO FREE CARDS! This is 6 handed NL dont try to trap like you're at a 3/6 Casino Limit

Holy moley bet that flop!
- You flopped a monster, build the pot! It's much easier to get it all in with bets on 3 streets than it is with bets on 2.
- You 3bet preflop, any attempt to induce a bluff or action from mediocre hands is much less likely to succeed. Even with top set, your hand is vulnerable. Don't give infinite odds here.
- That draw-heavy flop connected with a lot of his range. He's going to call with a lot.

wow i am baffled at all the problems here.

first... why in gods name would u shove the turn??? so that every hand villian has folds...???

second... why on earth would u not bet the flop??? the board is semi drawy and the pot is already startin to grow. bet that [censored] so that u can get all the money in asap when u have the nutz. ldo

third... crap i dont have n e more why ons but u finally bet the turn and u bet half pot. why?? u have the nutz yet their r a lot of draws that villian can catch up. not to mention by betting small u r not bloating the pot and thus makin it nearly impossible to get all the monies in the pot on the river unless u do a rediculous overbet

Does that honestly seem right to you?

awesome, thanks for the advice. i had this hellbent attempt to lay a trap, but you guys are all right, its stupid to do that here with a draw heavy board like this.

would you suggest the same line if there was no flush draw on the flop?

you're not betting because you're scared of draws, you're betting because that's the only way you will make money with your monster. You're not fooling anyone by checking anyways, so just bet/bet/bet

I still bet because I still want to build a pot. I'll make it smaller than I would on a draw-heavy flop, however, because there's a lesser chance the big bet gets called, and I'm less concerned with implied odds.
