Shaving
I find that I can never get a close shave without going against the grain.
Share your techniques, so I can improve my shaving xp. |

Re: Shaving
Try shaving sideways. Closer shave than with the grain with less razor burn than against the grain.

Re: Shaving
For me to get a close shave, I need to shave in three different directions: up, down and sideways (away from the center of my neck).

[/ QUOTE ] That's usually how I do it too, I shave it down before going against the grain. It hurts to do it more than 2 days in a row though, so I'm probably doing it wrong. I might do what icetonez said. I'm beginning to notice though that 95% of the men I see really don't shave close at all, so lately I've just been doing it once just to keep the stubble to a minimum. |

Re: Shaving
Get yourself a straight razor, been using one for years it's the best shave you'll get.

Re: Shaving
I just switched to wet-shaving (brush + REAL shaving cream + safety razor) and it flat out rules. I'll never use a disposable/cartridge razor again.
